A graceful two-seat settee in the Gustavian / Louis XVI tradition. The carved frame has a crest topped with a ribbon-bow, fluted tapered legs, acanthus-leaf detailing on the arm supports, and square rosette blocks at the corners. It's finished in a soft, aged dove-gray paint with natural distressing. The back, seat, and padded armrests are upholstered in rich charcoal velvet, which adds depth against the pale frame.
